LAREDO , TX. - A brilliant student advises the youth not to damage the local parks and recreation centers , as they are for everyone and paid by Laredoans.

Aileen Mata, a senior from Nixon High School (LISD) and national program participant “Shadow” or ” The Work Appreciation of the Youth”, made ​​such a request.

” The city of Laredo invests up to $70,000 per year in repairs, damage, graffiti, arson and vandalizing other pools , sports facilities , parks, recreation centers and plazas,” said the future psychologist.

Aileen, accompanied Osbaldo Guzman, director of the Department of Parks and Recreation Services of Laredo, as his ” shadow ” in this appreciation program designed for schools and government.
