Once again the Heat are unable to maintain the lead.

LAREDO, Tx.- The Laredo Heat club suffered a loss on penalty calls in their semifinal game against Baton Rouge Capitas and have been eliminated.

These two squads faced each other once again, after being separated from conference play for 2 years, the Heat belongs to teh Mid South Division and the Capitals in the West Division.

Once again the Heat are unable to maintain the lead. Félix García scored in the 16th minute of the first half with an assist from Esteban Bayona.

However, the tie came in the second half with 15 minutes in play, and then scored once again with only a few minutes remaining in the game.

Things became complicated for the Heat when Greg Mulamba was ejected in the 80th minute, giving the Capitals an advantage in the penalty shots to win 2-1.
