Femina magazine, a product of the newspaper El Mañana, decided to celebrate its 25th anniversary of existence, which has always stood out to promote the values and rights of women.
The conference will be held at 6:30 pm in the theater of the Fine and Performing Arts Center at TAMIU and is expected to be a luxury event attended by officials and community leaders.
This is not the first time Guadalupe Loaeza comes to Laredo and is considered to be a favorite to lovers of good reading. The journalist and author has in her collection of books with more then 34 written works.
The last three books written during 2011 are In the closet, The False Door, and, The art of being a grandmother. Marina Castañeda is s psychotherapist, author, and dedicated to giving lectures in various countries as well as Mexico and has lived in the U.S., France, Switzerland, and Egypt.
She has written over 300 articles in newspapers and magazines on psychological, political and social topics and has taught numerous courses and conferences throughout Mexico, as well as being a frequent guest on radio and television.
Sabina Berman is a author, playwright, storyteller, essayist, theater director, and filmmaker of Jewish origin. She is recognized as the most prolific playwright, original and daring of her generation in the Spanish language.
Her work deals mainly with the issue of human diversity and animal and the main obstacle, tendency to dominate with its derivatives such as authoritarianism, violence and discrimination.
